Frustrated by the Credit Crunch?

December 5th, 2008

Like a large proportion of the rest of the country the effects of the recession are starting to catch up with me. Also like a lot of people I have a daunting amount of debt, so thought I would share this great money saving tip. If you want to reduce your expenditure a useful way to do so is to sign up to a VoIP provider. I have loads of friends I have made over the years when travelling, who live in different countries. I’m really bad at keeping in contact with people at the best of times, even more so when it’s the price of a long distance phone call. With VoIP that is no longer a problem; calls are really cheap, if not free in some circumstances.

I can whole heartedly recommend it – calls are cystal clear and there have been no problems with the line cutting out or anything. I think is possible to get some mobile VoIP applications now as well which I will definitely look in to. Now I’m making cheap calls to Ireland amongst other places I’ve saved myself enough money to spend on a few things I have been hopelessly saving up for over the past year – a new ipod. I can finally say good bye to my ancient mini disk player and welcome in the 21st century.
