Superb Ski Conditions across the Alps
Weve had approximately 2 meters of snow in the last week. It has been so heavy that ski lifts have been shut, the train has been terminating at the Chamonix train station and not going to Le Praz. Some roads were shut and avalanche warnings issued.
This is in direct contrast to two winter seasons past, when there was the unbelievably hot Jan weather, grass appearing on the mountainsides, and admonitions that global warming meant the death of snowboarding in France.
