We all know the majority of the action at a dinner party happens when you sit down at the table. But there are plenty of dinner party ideas and games for after you have cleaned your plate also. Yes, there’s always dessert. Though as essential as making sure your friends are well fed, is ensuring they are entertained.

Begin the celebration off right with drinks before dinner. Late August through October marks the US grape crush and harvest season, which makes wine an ideal drink for the evening. Accompany the wines you are pouring with appetizers that have like components. This will allow samplers to more easily identify the subtle differences between the wines and to relish the rich flavors of each.

Finish the evening by moving your dinner party over to the bonfire where you and your guests can sit down and think of the days of summer with one of the season’s most well-known foods: the s’more. As you roast a mallow, ask guests and family to recall their wackiest moments of vacation or their amusing tale about camping.

We all know where to locate the very best beers on earth. We know how to choose the top beers at the local pub. But have you ever thought about a trip to your regional, independent brewery? Discover the entertainment up for grabs and exactly what to anticipate if you choose to do so! Thinking about your beer and local tradition? Ever been to a brewery? Well it could work out to be a great trip! There’s the 300 year-old brewery in Faversham, Kent in Southeast England. Shepard Neame has a tour that goes on for about 80 minutes. They will show how they utilize the traditional brewing techniques yet mixed with the newest technologies and make a scrumptious collection of of ‘Kentish Ales and speciality Lagers’. You will find the traditional mash tuns, you’ll have a taste of the natural mineral water they use right from the Brewery’s well as well as stepping into a re-created coopers working area. Probably the top section of the tour is that all audience member involvement is encouraged! You will taste the hops and some other ingredients that go into creating the finest of the best local beers. The whole visit here takes about 2 hours, including the tasting and the Brewery Store visit where you can pick up souvenirs and of course some tasty beer! Another place to go to for a tour of a very fine brewery is The Hogs Back Brewery, which is based in the village of Tongham, Surrey, between Farnham and Guildford just off the A31 ?Hogs Back? road. It is found within 16th century farm buildings in this quaint small village. You may anticipate a generous amount of sampling of the award winning beers, and ales they make. ‘Our flagship real ale, ?TEA? (Traditional English Ale), has proved to be a favourite of cask conditioned ale drinkers throughout the UK and is the proud winner of many awards’. Visiting local independent breweries is like a walk in the park with unique little pleasures, taste-testing a lot of distinct flavors of beers and ales. Most of the breweries have cute little bistros where you can go and eat an amazing meal after all of the walking . You may even feel a little drunk right after all the sampling! In 1970 there became a new improvement and trend in microbreweries. Small enterprise managers turned a small business with considerable profit to manufacturing high quality brews to sell in the UK and overseas. These microbreweries also offer tours too. Learn more information about local Breweries to visit

When you play enough poker tournaments, it’s easy to get into auto pilot mode and start taking the same lines when put in the same situation time after time. One of these times is when we’re dealt AK. The third, and debatably the second best starting hand on online poker hold em, AK is a hand that usually merits a 3bet from an opening raiser. Form that point, the raiser will either call, fold, or 4bet you. Depending on the opponent you’ll decide whether or not to shove (If he’s a rock, you’re probably better off folding). If he’s a maniac, you can probably be safe gambling with him on a 55/45 coinflip as the slight underdog against a smaller pair, or as a favorite against a lesser unpaired hand.

But sometimes we get too carried away and our three-bet gives away our hand. Then when the Ace or King hits on the flop, we c-bet and then it’s insta-fold from our opponent and we don’t maximize the value. Don’t get me wrong, this standard line is a good line to take most of the time, but sometimes you have to disguise your hand to maximize your profit.

That’s why I recommend sometimes cold calling with AK, especially when you’re out of position. While it’s not a good hand to play in a multiway pot, if the conditions are right, you may find yourself in a heads-up pot with this hand and your opponent will have no way of putting you on it (since he’s expecting a 3 bet from you).

I don’t advocate making this play with AK every time you have it. I actually suggest that the majority of the time you isolate the initial raiser with a 3 bet. But sometimes by taking this different line you can get a worse hand to call, especially a worse ace like AQ , AJ or AT or a smaller two pair hand. Just be weary of the straight, read the board, and suck as much money as you can out with your masked hand. Look out for this when you play your next poker online tournament.

It is always a great experience for any student to graduate from college or university. The graduation ceremony is a highly commemorative event which also becomes the last day that a student would be spending in that institution. It is the event for which every student looks forward to; the day in which you turn from a boy into a man, the day on which you finally clear college/university and enter the practical and working stage of your life. It is an extremely memorable occasion and should be celebrated with as many people as possible. The graduation ceremony marks the end of school/college/university life, and initiates a new chapter in a student’s life. As the graduation ceremony is such a memorable event, it is important to look as good as possible. The usual dress code of a graduation ceremony is the traditional gown, the hat and the tassel.

The graduation gown is an extremely important part of any graduating student’s attire, and no matter whichever graduation ceremony you attend, gowns are always a must. There are many shops as well as online stores that offer graduation gown for sale on highly reasonable and cheap prices, and they are extremely convenient to purchase. The other option that students have to get is to check whether their university offers graduation gowns for sale, as there are a few institutions that give out graduation gowns themselves, whereas some universities also have their own dedicated shops within the premises where you can purchase them. If not, you can most conveniently purchase a graduation gown from outside the university from the various amounts of shops and stores that offer them. They come in various sizes, so you can easily choose the one that fits you best.

The tassel is another very important part of your graduation outfit. Many universities require tassels for graduation as they are assigned to the students in compliance with the various degrees that are offered. Each degree has its distinct colored tassel, which is worn by a student qualifying for it. Students graduating from universities can also use their high school tassels as their tassels for graduation in their university graduating ceremony as it saves unnecessary expenses. The high school tassel adds a unique touch to your attire. However, students must pay great attention while choosing a tassel and make sure that it matches with the color assigned to their degree. The graduation ceremony is the most important day in any student’s life, and it is imperative that they dress up in the best possible manner, with a gown that is clean and tidy, and well ironed. It is a day on which you would look back all your life, so make sure that you take no regrets with as you walk up the stage to collect your degree.

Given the law’s reliance on the skill versus chance classification, legislation like H4069 is critical to ensuring that every American has the freedom to play poker, either with friends around the kitchen table or online at the computer table. Testifying on behalf of the PPA will be Patrick Fleming, director of PPA’s Litigation Support Network, and Andrew Woods of the Global Poker Strategic Thinking Society (GPSTS) at Harvard. At the hearing, PPA will also be submitting a white paper describing the role that skill plays in determining the outcome of a game of poker, and offers an overview of the scientific studies that address that question. The bill, introduced by Representative Brian Wallace, is the result of a robust grassroots effort by PPA members in Massachusetts. While PPA is uncertain of passage of this bill as stand alone legislation, the bill could be included in a larger casinos bill that the Massachusetts legislature plans to consider this summer.

The logic is that you can open a book over and over again. Every time that you open a book, you could learn something new. The same is true for online poker books. There is no one in the world who knows everything about poker online strategy. Some of the pros come close, but I bet even the professionals pull a reference book off of the shelf every once in a while. It’s just a part of human nature not to know everything. One of the best gifts that you can give a serious online poker player is a reference book for poker. This may seem to go against everything that you would initially think. After all, it’s not really good policy to go around giving presents that imply that your friends don’t really know how to play. This would be true for your average amateur poker player. If you are among serious poker players, however, the situation is very different. For starters, serious poker players are serious about learning. They would see a poker reference book as an opportunity to learn rather than a commentary on their skill set. Give the gift of poker knowledge to the people who will really appreciate it.

Betting in poker serves two purposes. A bet is a signal that you have a strong hand that can win. It also is meant to scare players with poor hands into folding rather than risking a wager on their weak cards.

In theory, online poker players bet when they have a good hand, and players with weak hands are supposed to fold. Here are some betting tricks to use when they are not holding the best cards.

Blind stealing is a basic way to win with a bet. If you are in late position, and everyone folds ahead of you, so that only the blinds remain, then put in a raise. Often you’ll just scoop up the blinds. It’s not a big pot, but you’ve added something to your stack.

After the flop, when you are in late position and everyone has checked, then bet out a raise to steal the pot. This tactic should be used sparingly though because the observant players will recognize this pattern and check to you with the intention of re-raising your bet. Use it when you are on a draw to a straight or flush.

Learn how to use a check-raise from early position. Simply check your strong hand, then when a bet comes out behind you, respond with a raise. You may win the pot right away with the check-raise, and if called, will build a bigger pot you have a shot to win.

Open with a raise when you are first to act. It will cause most other online poker players to fold and narrows your competition. You’ll also gain information about how aggressive or strong the remaining players are.

Getting donkey kicked for all the money hurts like few other things. You get all your chips that you’ve been working to accumulate throughout a session, and end up nailing this weak player to the wall with three outs to come, only to see him hit it on the river. The donkey, by his nature, is often quick to celebrate his great graces, letting you know that poker isn’t about math or skill, it’s about heart. Usually these players are just as quick to give those chips right back (perhaps not to you, but to the table), but still feeling the brunt of that donkey kick when it comes can be hard to get over. Knowing, though, that you made the right decision for the poker hand, got it in with way the best, and most of the time would have taken home the cake, hopefully will be enough to keep you in there, and as odds balance out, in the long run, give you the donkey’s money tenfold.

I showed up with a 6 pack and $40, good for casino games. I was told everyone bought in for $40, though I was contemplating sitting with like $25. I went with the full buy in. The first few hands I flopped pretty big and played conservatively. I had a tight image, so I really tried to wait for someone to start getting aggressive and then I would made a value raise on the turn or river and they’d usually go away. In these small stakes live cash games, I tend to play most poker hands for limps and calls preflop. The value of the money is so little, that raising with big cards preflop doesn’t really do much else than build a large pot. It does not get people to fold marginal hands, and it doesn’t really give you much information about what cards they could be holding. I played 66 for a limp in one hand and flopped a set on a 6, 7, 8 board with 2 hearts on it. I was in late position and decided to call along with a few other players for a cheap bet of a buck or two. Basically, I’m only going to get called by a straight draw, and the amount of money I’m going to bet is pretty inconsequential, so I decided to see the turn for a cheap call. A 5 came on the turn and I all but gave up, except now everyone checked to me. I could try and represent the straight here and maybe win, but I also suspected someone could be trapping. Let’s see a free river and maybe boat up. Something like a 3 comes out and there’s a bet of $5 and two callers. I mucked the set of 6’s. Two players split the pot with a nine and the other player had a set of 5’s. This hand cost me about $3. I was up money the whole night, $10-20 over a few hours. I caught JJ and limped in. I flopped J, 5, 5 someone bet a dollar and I made it $2 and they folded. I figured, if I flat called the dollar, then he’d put me on a 5 and shut down and
